  • Coordinated engineering internships
  • Supervised up to 6 student employees
  • Counseled more than 160 students each semester about academic and professional careers

Key Accomplishment

  • Reduced department faculty workload while increasing number of course sections offered (from 1 section to 4 sections) each semester by creating online course versions that are taught by adjunct faculty

Department Chair (Manager) – Computer Engineering and Technology
May 1999 to January 2003: Brigham Young University – Idaho, Rexburg, ID

  • Managed department of 5 faculty
  • Controlled department budget; Stayed within budget
  • Maximized resources when scheduling courses and faculty

Key Accomplishments

  • Proposed, developed, championed, and implemented new Computer Engineering curriculum
  • Secured ABET accreditation for Computer Engineering after only 3 years, which is an unusual ocurrence

Instructor – Electronics Engineering Technology
August 1991 to May 1999: Ricks College, Rexburg, ID

  • Facilitated electronics engineering technology courses in digital circuits, electronic circuits, and microprocessors

Key Accomplishment
